The ecoONE® Hose Filter has been tested to applicable NSF 42 & 53 standards by an independent lab to reduce and/or eliminate all contaminants listed. There are hundreds of other contaminants that the filter reduces and/or eliminates.
Calcites and lime/scale:
The ecoONE® Hose Filter alters the molecular structure of calcite which inhibits its clinging capability. Calcium ions are removed from the water which changes calcite lime/scale deposits into aragonite. This alteration causes the lime/scale to remain suspended in the water where it cannot cling to equipment.
